As a trained trauma trauma therapist, I believe everything we do, think, and feel makes sense. If we look closely enough, we find that every problematic and shame-inducing behavior, thought, and emotion is our mind and body’s best attempt at protecting us. This perspective gives us a foundation to develop compassion, implement effective behavior change strategies, and access our true selves. My approach to healing and behavior change is at the intersection of science and art, combining evidence-based practices and research with creative and spiritual underpinnings.
